Plug & Play, comes with 11sp cassette

Just like Suito, the Direto XR trainer will help you work out on your bike in the easiest and quickest fashion since the first unboxing. Plug & Play and very stable, Direto XR folds quickly for storage when not in use and features a practical integrated handle that makes it easier to carry it with you.

Our most powerful trainer this year includes a pre-installed 11-speed Shimano® 11-28 or equivalent cassette that will help you train in a few easy steps. As you don't need to assemble the sprocket cassette or the base legs, youìll just need to place your bike on the hometrainer and connect it to a power source. Total setup time: less than five minutes. 

In addition to that, the Direto XR is a direct-drive home trainer meaning that it is one of the quietest home trainer on the market.

Integrated power meter

The OTS (Optical Torque Sensor) ensures Direto XR the greatest data accuracy while you’re training. This is an innovative integrated power meter for the hometrainer to measure power output with a ± 1,5% accuracy, 0.5 % more to the original Direto trainer.

The Elite Direto XR is the only hometrainer in the world with the original Drivo, Drivo II, Direto and Direto x trainers to actually measure your power output via an integrated power meter. That's why it sets itself apart as one of the most accurate hometrainers on the market.

Incredible slope simulation

The Direto XR is an interactive home trainer so it varies automatically resistance during your training. With an upgraded and bigger flywheel, the Direto XR is able to simulate up to an incredible 24% slope gradient – 10% more than what the original Direto could do and 6% more than the Direto X.

This unprecedented power level ensures excellent performances even during particularly intense training sessions - you'll be able the check out all your training charts at a glance, conduct tests to evaluate your fitness level, do reps and high-speed sprints at max power. Any type of training you want is available to you riding on the Direto XR.

Total Interactivity

Direto XR is counted among the new generation of ANT+™ FE-C & Bluetooth interactive home trainers that are compatible with any kind of app, software, computer and device (smartphones and tablets) that support iOS, Android, OSX and Windows. Set your course or training programs with a few clicks and start pedaling right away. Direto XR will automatically adjust resistance and manage your training session.

Direto XR can be managed via the My E-Training software & app (12-month free subscription included) or other indoor cycling services, such as: Zwift, TrainerRoad, The Sufferfest, Bkool, Kinomap and many more.

It works with the Elite Rizer

Direto XR is compatible with the Rizer gradient simulator with steering (COMING SOON)

The Rizer simulates ascents up to 20% and descents down to -10% gradients by pairing with virtual training software to automatically match the virtual gradient on screen. For more realistic rides, the Rizer features steering functionality so you can freely move your handlebars when you’re smashing those climbs. 

Other Elite trainers compatible with the Rizer are Suito, Suito-T, Direto XR-T and Tuo. Contact us to verify the Rizer’s compatibility with other brands.

Super compatible

The Direto XR is one of the most compatible home trainers, perfect with both gravel, mountain and city bikes with 130-135x5mm quick release and 142x12mm thru-axle.

This trainer features a new structure which is perfect to house derailleurs with long cages that feature greater capacity on bigger 12-speed sprocket sets. This is how the Direto XR is compatible with 9/10/11 speed Shimano® and 12 speed Shimano® road, 12 speed Shimano® MTB (with Micro Spline freehub body),  9/10/11/12 speed Campagnolo, 12 speed SRAM NX with Shimano compatible hub, and 12 speed SRAM (XD/XDR freehub).

Pedalling analysis

The Pedaling analysis is an innovative function that will analyze your power output throughout the whole pedaling movement through a 24 points-system.

You can display via two types of charts Direto XR's data such as the value of immediate power output throughout the pedaling movement. This creates a thorough evaluation of the mechanical efficiency of the movement for the cyclist, so it's possible to adjust and correct where necessary.

The pedaling analysis function is available for purchase in Elite's My E-Training software.

Cadence, speed & power data

All Elite trainers rely on immediate transmission of power, speed and pedal cadence data in order to let you achieve the most specific and accurate training plan.

To measure cadence, our trainers make use of practical sensorless technology capable of detecting the pedaling rate without having to install sensors on the bike frame.

Most of our trainers measures pedal cadence by analyzing the speed variation, whereas our interactive trainers Direto XR, Direto X, Direto, Drivo and Drivo II measure cadence via power analysis by means of their innovative in-built power meter OTS.

HOW DO I MAKE AN ORDER?

  • Just click on the product or collection of your choice, click the 'ADD TO CART' button to add it to your cart and this will show up in the right hand corner of the website.
  • Agree to the Terms of Service.
  • You can leave special instructions or change the quantity you need.
  • Next click 'CHECKOUT' to be taken to the personal information and payment page.
  • Enter your email & delivery address.
  • Choose a Shipping option and enter any discount codes or gift cards you may have.
  • Finally Choose a Payment Option from Credit Card, Paypal, Zip or Afterpay and then push "Complete Order." You will be notified via email with an attached pdf receipt.

HOW LONG DOES AN ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?

We have a large range of products on our online store and not all these items are held in stock. Some items will be drop shipped from the New Zealand importer. If the importer is out of stock of your ordered item, we will notify you. If any items in your order are out of stock you will have the option to backorder until the item arrives, have part delivery of your order or cancel the entire order. Note: you will only be charged for items sent to you.

Items are generally shipped within 3 days of placing your order. We deliver to all addresses within New Zealand and delivery usually takes around 1 week. Delivery costs are calculated when you confirm your order. We offer freight free ordering on all packages over $99+. If your order is under $99 we charge a flat rate of $9 for North Island. $12 for South Island, Waiheke Island and Rural delivery and $25 for Bike Frames/ Bikes or extra large/ heavy orders. We review these charges from time to time and the checkout system will reflect the current freight charge.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at shop@veloworkshop.co.nz. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 7c Empire Street, WKO, Hamilton 3204, New Zealand.

If your return is accepted, excluding incorrectly ordered items we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items) or gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at shop@veloworkshop.co.nz.
